Anybody else is tired of the institutions and how they are ripping families apart and blindly applying rules that don’t make sense?
One year of Diamond Jubilee was one year of pain and sorrow at the hands of the institutions. The jamat is supposed to be rejoicing and celebrating. But it’s quite the opposite that is happening right now. How can one prevent a family from doing mulaqat with their children, simply because the children were foreign students in another country and happened by chance to be in that country during a mulaqat. Would a mother leave her children outside while she goes inside for Mulaqat?
How can one simply divulge confidential information such as if a murid is taking IA or not? Similarly, don’t we have data protections law that prevent the institutions from crossing data with one another? Ultimately, it brings them much joy to cross people out of Mulaqat lists, supposedly they have accomplished their duty and are now in list to become higher members of the institutions.
Why is it that knowing the right people always comes in handy in our community? Shouldn’t our institutions live by the values that are brought to us by our beloved Imam? Shouldn’t the institutions work for the jamat, not against them?
Is there something that can be done as a community? Do people blindly follow the instructions of the institutions? I am having trouble believing that the word of the institution is the word of the Imam. no father would prevent its children from coming to see him.
