Miracles of Hazir Imam 1991 Pakistan

Post by star_munir »

Incidents which occured during Hazar Imam's Holy Visit to Karachi,

Pakistan

in November, 1991

On November 4th and 5th, during the Mahadin Chhanta ceremony at both

Garden

and Kharadhar Jamat Khanas, Hazar Imam spoke to Ismailies in Urdu,

Gujrati,

Sindhi and Kachhi.

************************************************************************

On November 4th , 1991, an elderly Ismaili woman wanted to disclose a

personal matter to the Imam during the Mehmani at Garden Jamat Khana.

However, she was unable to speak and walked on. Overcome with emotion,

she

sat behind the fourth pillar away from the Jamat where she wept silently.

On

the other side, the Imam continued to accept Mehmanis. All of a sudden,

he

told Varas Akbar, the estate agent, that a woman was sitting behind the

fourth pillar and that she had something secret which she wanted to tell

Him. Accordingly, the woman was brought before the Imam who spoke with

her.

Whatever the Imam said to her gave her great comfort and happiness.

************************************************************************

On November 5th in Kharadhar Jamat Khana, one woman supplicated before

the

Imam during her Mehmani that she had waited for thre years for a name for

her child. Varas Akbar related this to the Imam in English. However, the

woman protested to Varas Saheb saying "But you didn't tell the Imam

whether

I wanted a name for a son or for a daughter." Upon hearing this, Hazar

Imam

burst out laughing and said, "I know, I know, I name your child Karim."

And

indeed, her child was a boy aged three years.

************************************************************************

On November 7th during Mehmani at Rahimabad Jamat Khana, one sindhi

couple

came bfore the Imam. The husband said to the Imam that his wife was

pregnant

and that they wanted a name for the child to be born. Imam laughed and

asked, "How can I name a child who is not yet born? I don't know wheter

your

wife will give birth to a son or a daughter." The man humbly replied,

"Khudawind, the ultra sound report indicates that a son will be born."

Imam

responded, "Ok, I give the name Zahora to your child." Both husband and

wife

were surprised that Imam had given a girl's name. But the following week,

On

November 15th, 1991 at Garden Maternity Home, contrary to the report of

ultra sound, the wife gave birth to a baby girl. According to Imam's

Farman,

she was named Zahora .

************************************************************************

When Hazar Imam left Garden Jamat Khana on On November 6th at 7:00 pm, a

large crowd had gathered near the road. Amongst the throng of Muslims

stood

two Hindu ladies who were waiting for the Imam. Because of the heavy

rush,

the Aga Khan Volunteers were forced to cordon off the crowd with a rope.

As

the car approached the women, Imam moved from one side of the seat to the

other, opened the window and revealed His Holy Face. Just then, the rope

broke exactly where these women were standing. They stepped forward

towards

the car and received the Imam's Holy Didar. Imam then closed the window.

The

Ismaili Volunteers were astonished at this incident. When the Imam

departed,

they approached the women and asked about it. The women said, "We are not

Muslims, but Hindus. Our lord Krishna told us in a dream last night thst

He

would make His appearance on a road neat the Jamat Khana of the Khoja

Ismailis in the midst of a large crowd. Indeed, today we have seen our

Lord!"

************************************************************************

During Mehmani and Mahadin Chhanta ceremonies being performed by the Imam

on

November 8th in Kharadhar, one Ismaili entreated the Imam, "Mowla! I am

alone in the world. I have no legs and am suffering from many diseases.

Please take me from this world, O Khudawind!" Imam gave him the Chhanta ,

and after two hours he passed away peacefully at home.

************************************************************************

During Mehmani on November 11th at Garden Jamat Khana, a person from

Mirpur

Sakro told the Imam, "Khudawind, in my village of Mirpur Sakro, my 80

year

old father is suffering with weakness. Please pray for his health."

Hearing

this request, Imam said, "I give special blessings to the soul of your

father." The person was taken aback. He walked away wondering why the

Imam

had uttered such words as it was not a Ruhani Mehmani. When he arrived at

his brother's flat where he was staying, he found a telegram from Mirpur

Sakro in which it was stated that his father had passed away the previous

night.

************************************************************************

On November 8th, during Mehmani at Nizari Jamat Khana, Imam suddenly told

one of the leaders present to go to the door of the Jamat Khana and wait

for

His three followers who were on a train about 25 miles from Karachi. The

leader obediently followed the Imam's instructions. After 40 minutes, a

taxi

arrived with three Sindhi passengers. They tried to enter the Jamat Khana

premises. The leader saw them and brought them before the Imam. Imam

spoke

with them for a few minutes before allowing them to go. As they were

leaving

the Jamat Khana, the astonished leader approached them and inquired about

who they were. They replied, "We are three brothers living in Hyderabad

(a

city about 80 miles from Karachi.) Last night in a dream Hazar Imam told

us

to come to Karachi in the morning and that He would be waiting for us at

Nizari Jamat Khana. So we came immediately by train."

************************************************************************

On the morning of November 11th at Life Dedication Assembly in Garden

Jamat

Khana, Imam arrived and was seated upon a chair. According to the

scheduled

programme, few verses of a Holy Ginan were to be recited before the Imam.

But before the recitation was to take place, Imam indicated that He

wished

for them to recite the whole Ginan "Aye Rahem Raheman ab to Rahem

Karoge."

Accordingly, the Ginan of Imam's choice was recited and the entire Jamat

joined in the recitation. Imam was immensely happy and because of the

Ginan

He showered His Rahemat on the Jamat saying, "Today, you have cooled My

eyes..."

************************************************************************

On November 5th at Kharadhar Jamat Khana, one person told the Imam,

"Mowla,

my wife gave birth a son two days ago. He is hardly two pounds in weight.

The Doctor say that he suffers from many serious diseases by birth." Imam

replied, "I make Mushkil Aasan for you and your wife. Khanavadan." that

evening at 6:00 pm the newly born child passed away.

************************************************************************

On November 8th, Hazar Imam came to Karimabad and after completing Jamati

work, he went to the top floor of the Jamat Khana for performance of

Mahadin

Chhanta. When Imam sat upon the chair, He called one volunteer and

pointed

out two individuals saying, "Those two are not My murids." Before the

Volunteer could take them out, they began to leave the Jamat Khana of

their

own accord (apparently frightened by Imam's gesture in their direction).

Imam instructed the volunteer not to tell them anything. It was later

learned that these two individuals belonged to the Ishah Committee (a

group

of renegade Ismailis and others who left our community- their numbers

around

Karimabad Colony has dwindled to less than a hundred people as many of

them

repented and returned to Ismailism). It was reliably learned that one

Ismaili had sold his two cards which permitted entrance to Mahadin

Chhanta

to the above two people for the sum of Rs. 20000. In another Mehmani at

Karimabad, one Ismaili had sold his card permitting his entrance to

Mehmani

to a Sunni Individual for Rs. 5000. The strange thing is that when this

Sunni came before Hazar Imam for the Mehmani, the Imam did not put His

Holy

Hand on the shoulder of that person and did not bless him with

Khanavadan.

************************************************************************

On November 7th at Clifton Jamat Khana, a small boy of about twelve years

took a Mehmani plate to the Imam in his left hand. The Imam told him to

take

the plate in hisright hand. The boy remained silent with eyes downcast.

Imam

repeated His Farman, but again the boy did not reply. When the Imam told

him

a third time to take the plate in his right hand, the boy began to sob

uncontrollably. As tears streamed from his eyes he said, "Mowla Bapa, my

right hand is not working due to paralysis." Imam said, "Why not working?

Try to move it." Suddenly, the five fingers of his right hand began to

move

slowly and then the whole right hand. This happened within ten to fifteen

seconds and then the boy moved the Mehmani plate from his left to his

right

hand. Imam blessed him and said, "Continue your medicine, everything will

be

all right."

************************************************************************

On November 10th during the Mahadin Chhanta at Masalla Society Jamat

Khana,

a newly converted Ismaili of Badin, Sindh was present. His Hindu name had

been Ram Chandra, but when he became an Ismaili, he took the name Nur

Muhammad. As he had converted to Ismailism only 15 days earlier, he did

not

know how to perform any of the Ismaili ceremonies. In addition, he only

knew

Sindhi language. When he came before the Imam for getting Mahadin

Chhanta,

Imam told him in Sindhi,

(You fold your hands like this before Me and say, "Ya Mowla, forgive my

sins

of all births.) In this way, Imam taught the new Ismaili the procedure

for

getting Mahadin Chhanta in his own language.

Mowla Aly Madad,

If you are an Ismaili ask your mother or father, if you are not an Ismaili it does not apply to you so don't worry about it.

I'm sorry about not being able to help in this matter, it is a blessing reserved for the spiritual family of Imam.

"Ya Mowla, forgive my sins of all births."

This could cause persecution of innocent Ismailis.

If you are going to post this for the public to read, you need to go into a long explanation of the faith.

Like about Judgment Day, with each sect of Islam being chained to their Imam. As Allah forgives and blesses each individual Imam, all the people under the Imam are forgiven and blessed. Wherever each Imam goes, so do his followers.

I was very fortunate to be a part of lucky volunteers participated in Inauguration of Aga Khan Trust for Culture's (AKTC) project of Baltit Fort (Hunza - Pakistan) in 1996. We were a group of 6 people from Karachi responsible for logistic arrangements (Pandol, Stage, Microphone system etc. etc.) of approximately 12 - 13 events in Hunza & Gilgit together led by Rai Wazir Basria.

This story was shared with us by then Chairman of AKTC Mr. Aziz Sharif after the event was over at a volunteer appreciation get-together at a local hotel in Karachi.

I am trying to narrate this story in his words.

"3 or 4 weeks before the Inauguration Ceremony, I received a fax from Govt. of Pakistan informing us that their Military Weather Station have issued a severe weather forecast for Northern Areas of Pakistan including Gilgit & Hunza. They were expecting very heavy rainfall and land sliding starting from an evening before the inauguration day and will last for 3 days. I got worried and forwarded this news to Aglimont to bring this to Mawla's attention.

After few days, I was in the meeting with Mawla at Aglimont discussing the inauguration and I asked 'Khudawand we have received this fax from Govt. of Pakistan about this severe weather'. Maula smiled and said: 'Aziz, You have lots of things to take care of, leave this weather thing to me'. I said 'Jee Khudawand'.

Hardly a week before Inauguration, I received another correspondence from Pakistan Govt. warning us about the weather which is now forecasted to be even worst. They were expecting very heavy land sliding and rainfall which might just shut the whole business of the city including Hunza & Gilgit. The land sliding will make it impossible to travel on major road connecting Gilgit with Hunza.

I was again in the meeting with Maula at Aglimont about 3 days before the ceremony. After meeting was over MHI asked me if there is anything else I want to discuss and I said No Mawla everything is fine, (but HE is Malik-e-Jahan, He knows everything :) ). MHI smiled and asked me again: 'Aziz you sure you don’t want to ask me anything else?' I very hesitantly said: "Mawla we have again received this weather warning from Pakistan Govt.'. Mawla's holy face got serious, 'Aziz didn’t I told you to leave this on me, if Pakistan Govt is hesitant, I will go to Hunza in AKF helicopter'. 'Jee Khudawand' I replied.

Then it was this historical bright and so very sunny day. MHI came with President of Pakistan Mr. Farooq Lagari. I was walking right behind MHI towards the pendol where this event was organized. All of a sudden MHI turned towards me then looked up in sky and said: 'Aziz isn't it a very beautiful bright day' with that MHI smiled and started walking. (It was sun all over the sky).

P.S: I was on duty handling mic system next to that stage where MHI was sitting with other govt. officials. After speeches THEY all went up to the fort for visit and then it was a lunch organized at Mir of Hunza's palace. After few hours MHI left Hunza for Islamabad and then again after little while we got the news that MHI reached Islamabad. Within 15/20 mins after MHI reached Islamabad, the sky was dark as night and started raining. We had specially designed the pandol shamiana with duct system for water drainage so it won't leak and then we put big plastic sheets on top of the shamiana to add extra safety if it will rain. Nothing worked. The rain was so bad that the whole pendol was soaking. We couldn’t dismantle the pendol for another 5 days. The land sliding was still on. Road that connect Hunza with Gilgit was completely closed so we had to take the alternate route to Iskardu (another small city of Northern Area with very few Ismailies but very big AKDN name). Unfortunately we stucked again in Iskardu as it was impossible to travel to Islamabad from there also. Finally flew to Islamabad in AKF helicopter. (My first helicopter ride ever ;).. It was fun :p).

This was a personal experience of an individual Ismaili Murid and he has shared his experience via Email.

You have to read this short message and try to make some adjustments in your life specially attending Jamatkhana in the morning.

Wow!!! thanks for sharing this AWESOME experience.

P.S. for those who are from Mwanza this person was known as "Shiraz Banke". He was my classmate and I know him quite well. Well this tells us that if we want to have Mowla's didar the place is at Baitul Khayal. He misses us when we don't show up. So please a specical request to you all try to go to morning JK or at least make a point to wake up at home

Ya Ali Madad, Naz,

Saheb ni Salamati.

The ceremony was wonderful, for me it was a dream come true, I had never in my life expected to be invited in such a ceremony where you are only few steps away from Him (physically). I had a wonderful time.
But also I want tell you about a miracle happen while we were there.
You remember my cousin brother Nizar MK. My aunt's son. He was there too.
he lives in Chicago, since he went there he used to khane morning and evening. Last three months for some reason, he stopped going to Khane.
So Molwa, after saying goodbye to the Prime Minister in the VIP Lounge, He came to the reception area where rest of the invited people were. He talked to few people hi how are you, then He was leaving to go back to the VIP area. While going back He passed Nizar and few people standing with him .

Mowla passed Nizar and came back to him, held his hand and asked him How are you? Nizar answered I am fine with your Blessings Khudavind.
Mowla asked him " Where are you? i haven't seen you, I want to see you again " .

Nizar said Ameen Khudavind. Then Mowla went away.

After that we heard lots of miracle from different people. about themselves or heard from somebody. But this was in front of us.Mowla knows all our whereabouts.
Share this incident in Morning JK.
