O fortunate one, the Lord will gradually come along with his group in Multaan, fortunate one.

e sabhaagaa chaare ku(n)ddhu chaare chakalaa
mul chok mulastaan sabhaagaa.........................10

O fortunate one, passing through the four corners and four squares, He will come to the central market of Multaan, fortunate one.

What is so special about Multaan? And who are these people that the Pir talks about?

Multan was a very important and well known religious historical city. All the great mystics and the wise and the learned were located there. The Peer is telling us that when the Imam manifests himself, it will be in the open i.e in the most well known place symbolised by Multan and in the market place as opposed to be in a periphery or a secret location.

Allegorically, Multan symbolizes the heart (seat of knowledge and gnosis). It is in the heart that the Lord will grant His Vision (visitation) and in an obvious and clear way symbolised by the market place. You will have no doubt about it. He will not visit you in an ambiguous manner. His group can mean angels (ruhanis).

ha(n)sapuree nagaree maa(n)he maa(n)ddavo rachaayo
enne enne maa(n)dave muman teddaavo bhaai.........................1

ha(n)sapuree - old name of Multaan, abode of the soul
maa(n)ddavo - canopy, covering over the throne

In Multaan (the Lord) has constructed a canopy.
In such (an exalted) canopy invite the momins to attend.

In this ginaan, Peer Sadardeen also talks about Multaan and it matches with what kmaherali said.

I did have a question from this ginaan on the following verse:

shaahjeenaa maa(n)ddavaa maa(n) evee evee reet
damsar maru-aanee utthee chhe bheet bhaai.........................3

reet - practise, manner
damsar - upon every breath
maru-aanee - to die bheet - inside

Such are the (exalted) practices at the Lord's canopy that from within,
I wish upon every breath to die.

Why does the Pir wish to die? Is it so he can be one with Allah?

Yes in my opinion. Having tasted the spendour of the hereafter, the Pir feels there is nothing in this world in comparison and hence the eagerness to die!

Also perhaps due to the fact that this world is a prison for momins as per Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah's Farman.
