G8 counter Summit / 2010
A religious counter-summit is planned to coincide with the G8 summit in 2010. The Canadian Council of Churches is organizing the event, anticipating that South Africa's Desmond Tutu, the Dalai Lama and Prince Karīm al-Hussainī Aga Khan IV will be amongst the internationally known figures who plan to attend the multi-faith conference at the University of Winnipeg.
