I read GHUGRY ginans of Syed Imam Shah. What is the meaning of Ghugri?
According to ginan Ghugry is tied out side AMRAPURI ie Spiritaul world.
Was Ghugry dream, imagination or personal Ma'iraj of Syed Imam Shah?

The 10 Gugri Ginans are published in Gujerati in the book: Sayed Imam Shah na Grantho 3. There are 4 Granths in it; Bai budhai No Savad, Vis Tol, Si Harfi and Gugri na Ginan.

These 10 Ginans have been transliterated and translated into English in Alwaez Kamaluddin/Alwaeza Zarina's Ginan book series and they are in Vol 8. Visit www.kamalzar.com for more information.

Gugri has been translated as a little bell, jingling bell, a rattle; boiled grain; a type of umbrella. According to the 10 Ginans, it is a mystical object with intense luminosity and a cover and comfortable objects such as a bed and a chair under it surrounded by angels, a fairy, a pious lady and elevated/enlightened soul to welcome and comfort the practising murids. There is also a luminous horse, chariot and rider to take the souls to heavens.

In my opinion, it is not a dream or an imagination but the real mystical object/station attained through spiritual elevation or Meraj and which is attainable. Sayyed Imam Shah testifies in each Ginan that he has seen the object.

When Sayyed Imam Shah had the physical Deedar of the Imam after the death of his father Pir Hasan Kabirdeen, he was granted the title of Mystic Great Name, which means he was a highly elevated soul.

Gugri may be the Ismaili equivalent of the concept of the Holy Grail.

No need to be judgemental and offensive.

People do not question who you are and you should not question who they are. Your beliefs maybe as controversial as those of others who post here.

Please refrain from giving ultimatum to others. As you see, I deleted your ultimatum and it just increased my work.

I consider 'EK CHOR' as nafs amarah and not as angel of death.
I wonder how Nafs amarah seizes the body and steals or takes away the soul. It rather corrupts the body
shivaathervedi wrote: 2. EJI PAHLA LEEDHA KOTT VERA NAW DARWAJA
There is no direct mention of Yamadot or jamaddo, only description of how he seizes the soul. He start pulling the soul from feet and move upwards making 9 openings inactive and taking complete soul out of body through left ear of forehead.
Nafs amara does not do that, it is only the angel of death which can do that.

There is a comparison of material world and spiritual world. A FALSE OR ARTIFICIAL DEATH AND A REAL DEATH.
There is a good comparison in this part;

MARU(N) MARU(N) KARANTA JANAM GAMAVIO
HERLA SARIKHO AAVIYO MONKHO DHUBAVIO
Reasonable..

EJI KAYA NAGRI MAHE(N) EK CHOR....

I don't think in ginans Hazrat Izrael is equated with chor (theif).

Lord Krishna was the eighth Avatar of Vishnu . Lord Vishnu came in Krishna Avatar to protect Dharma and to spread peace and love on earth. The name Krishna was given to him because of his color (in sanskrit krsna means the color of night i.e is Dark). Krishna is portrayed as an attractive young boy with bright eyes and divine glow on his ‘dark or blue’ skin playing a flute.
Ismaili version of Lord Krishna's biography is given by late Alwaez Shamshu Bandali in his book: The Noor En Allah Noor which can be accessed at: http://ismaili.net/heritage/node/15495.

The account is from page 51 onwards in the file:

http://ismaili.net/heritage/files/NoorE ... 0-80_0.pdf

On Page 58 there is mention of MSMS's recollection of his manifestation in the Krishna Avtaar:

“MISSIONARY! YE KONSA STATION HAY?” Mowlana Sultan Muhammad Shah while recollecting His Divine “Noorani” aspect and “Noorani” incarnation of five thousand years ago, asked one of the missionaries on His Huzur staff while travelling in the interior of India.

“KHUDAWIND! YE MATHURA KA STATION HE! ,” the missionary replied.

“MISSIONARY, KRISHNA AVTAR ME MAYNE IDHAR BAHOT KHEL KIYA, AUR MOMINOKO BAHOT LADD LADAYA,” Mowlana Sultan Muhammad Shah uttered these unique and most wonderful recollections of His Divine Avtar.

But you did not gave comments on Kansa (Kans).
Kansa was maternal uncle (brother of mother) of Lord Krishna. He wanted to kill baby Krishna and finally was killed by Krishna himself. I tried to locate name of kANS in ginans but failed. Is there any mention of Raja Kans in ginans?

I don't think Ghugri is a jingling bell or an object of rattling. If we consider Ghugri as a bell or (ghanti) then Ghunguru will come in mind. I can't find proper meaning in Gujrati or in Hindi dictionaries. Other notable thing is that Ghugri is out side at border of Amrapuri. If we consider it as Ma'iraj then it is not complete and final or it can be like;

I don't consider this kind of stealing in a negative way. It is just a poetic way of making a statement about taking away something dramatically.

Hari is a the Stealer of Hearts who takes away from us the attraction for the maya so that we can pay attention to what He is trying to give us!

Rumi also mentions stealing for a better purpose in the poem below.

Our Secret, Rumi

Shall I tell you our secret?
We are charming thieves who steal hearts
and never fail because we are
the friends of the One.
The time for old preaching is over
we aim straight at the heart.
If the mind tries to sneak in and take over
we will string it up without delay.
We turn poison into medicine
and our sorrows into blessings.
All that was familiar,
our loved ones and ourselves
we had to leave behind.

I did not because late Alwaez has mentioned him in the reference that I gave you. Yes Raja and Mamo Kans has been mentioned in the Ginans. Infact whatever the late Alwaez has mentioned in his book is derived from the Ginans.

To find Ginans that contain a concept or term or name go to Search Ginan Texts at the new heritage site at: http://ismaili.net/heritage/ginan_view . Then type the required word - Kans in the Text box and hit the Search button and you will get a list of all the Ginans that mention Kans.

For example: Das Avtar - Nano http://ismaili.net/heritage/node/30588

Yes of course it is not to be considered as our final destination which is Niranjan - without form and attributes as per verse of Khat Niranjan:

Shah na darshan thi jaave paap,
Alakh Nirinjan aapo hi aap 260

By Imam's Deedar sins get washed away and he becomes clean and pure by himself like the Indescribable and the Unseen.

The Gugri Ginans state that this station or object is near the eternal abode - amrapuri and not the amrapuri itself. Just as the Prophet encountered several stations before his ultimate union with God.

O brother! Beneath the gugri the Gurnar (Imam) himself is seated; the true momins will arrive there.

JIREY BHAI BHANEY SYED IMAM SHAH AMEY GHUGRI JO DHITHI

O brother! Sayyed Imam Shah teaches that he has seen this gugri whose luminous intensity is limitless.

English translation of the second Gugri Ginan provided here.

JIREY BHAI AMRAPURI AAGAL EK GHUGRI JO BHANDI
TENU TEJ CHANDRAMA SARIKHO JIREY BHAI

TE DHOLINI PAR HURU(N) APAAR JIREY BHAI

O brother! Underneath there is kept a bed; there are countless houris (nymphs) on that bed.

Loh Qalam which is also termed as Niraakaar bhavan is described in nakhlanki gita and there are few details in girbhawali moti as well. There are multiple interpretations for this term. I think i have given some explanations in my previous article "WAEZEIN". My recommendation would be that you read both the granths by your self and try to interpret yourself. If you need any help i can give you

What is 'LOHE KALAM"?
There is discussion about it at:

AVICHAL ALLAH AVICHAL KHAALAK
http://www.ismaili.net/html/modules.php ... ght=tablet

LAUH-I MEHFUZ: lt is generally supposed to contain all the decrees of God in writing. The word lauh means a 'ttablet for writing" and mehfuz means "that which is guarded". The expression lauh-i mehfuz occurs once in the Holy Koran in connection with the guarding of the Koran that: "Nay! it is a glorious Koran in a guarded tablet" (85:21-22). The word lauh in its plural lorm alwah is used in connection with the books of Moses: "And We ordained for him in the tablets (alwah) admonition of every kind and clear explanation for all things." (71aQ Thus the alwah of Moses and the lauh of the Koran are the same. So far as the Koran is concerned, there is no mention in it of a lauh-i mehfuz in which the Divine decrees are written. Raghib writes: "the nature of it has not been disclosed to us". One thing is quite clear that God's writing is not of the same nature as man's writing; for man stands in need of pen, ink and paper, while God does not. Thus the writing of God therefore does not stand in need of a tablet or ink or pen, and if lauh-i mehfuz is spoken of in certain Hadith, it stands only for the great and allcomprehensive knowledge of God, before which everything is as clear as a writing before man.

QALAM: lt simply means "pen" standing for the Universal lntellect. God says: "He Who taught by the Pen" (96:4), implying that God taught through the mediation of the Universal lntellect through whom God taught every Perfect Man the science of secrets (ilm al-asrar).

KUMBH MELA

Kumbh Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith in which Hindus gather to bathe in a sacred river. Traditionally, four fairs are widely recognized as the Kumbh Melas: the Haridwar Kumbh Mela, the Allahabad Kumbh Mela, the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha and the Ujjain Simhastha, although priests at other places have also claimed their local fairs to be Kumbh Melas. These four fairs are held periodically at one of the following places by rotation: Haridwar, Allahabad (Prayaga), Nashik district (Nashik and Trimbak) and Ujjain. The main festival site is located on the banks of a river: the Ganges (Ganga) at Haridwar; the confluence (Sangam) of the Ganges and the Yamuna and the invisible Sarasvati at Allahabad; the Godavari at Nashik; and the Shipra at Ujjain. Bathing in these rivers is thought to cleanse a person of all sins.
At any given place, the Kumbh Mela is held once in 12 years. There is a difference of around 3 years between the Kumbh Melas at Haridwar and Nashik; the fairs at Nashik and Ujjain are celebrated in the same year or one year apart. The exact date is determined according to a combination of zodiac positions of the Jupiter, the Sun and the Moon. At Nashik and Ujjain, the Mela may be held while a planet is in Leo (Simha in Hindu astrology); in this case, it is also known as Simhastha. At Haridwar and Allahabad, an Ardha ("Half") Kumbh Mela is held every sixth year; a Maha ("Great") Kumbh Mela occurs after 144 years.
The exact age of the festival is uncertain. According to medieval Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu dropped drops of Amrita (the drink of immortality) at four places, while transporting it in a kumbha (pot). These four places are identified as the present-day sites of the Kumbh Mela.
The festival is one of the largest peaceful gatherings in the world, and considered as the "world's largest congregation of religious pilgrims". There is no precise method of ascertaining the number of pilgrims, and the estimates of the number of pilgrims bathing on the most auspicious day may vary. An estimated 120 million people visited Maha Kumbh Mela in 2013 in Allahabad over a two-month period, including over 30 million on a single day, on 10 February 2013.
