On Sept. 27, the Aga Khan Museum and Park were illuminated for Lapis Ball: Be the Light, a fundraiser presented by Anwar and Nasreen Aman and Steel Canada Limited. More than 450 guests celebrated the museum’s 10th anniversary and raised a record $1.4 million in support of the institution’s mission to further the understanding of Muslim cultures through the arts. Guests dined under the stars in a conservatory-style tent in the Aga Khan Park and witnessed a collaborative dance and music performance by Hatim Belyamani, Bageshree Vaze, Vineet Vyas, and Eduardo Guerrero González.
