It is love that brings happiness to people.
It is love that gives joy to happiness.
My mother didn't give birth to me, that love did.
A hundred blessings and praises to that love.

I looked at him for the first time, and not noticing I would fall in love with him I looked away.
I now sit at home only thinking about him.
Why is it that I can't let him go?
I know realize he is never coming back, and begin to cry.
He was my first, my first at so many things.
But the one thing I will always remember, is
that he was my first "True Love."
I did things not thinking of the outcome, and now I am left home all alone.
I just can't let him go.
Why is it that he can act like nothing is wrong, and say "I Love You?"
Does it even mean anything?
If he read this, would he show this to all of his friends?
I just don't know anymore!
All I know is that I love a guy.
And for that reason......

Good Morning!

This morning when I wakened,

And saw the sun above,

I softly said, "Good morning, Lord,

Bless everyone I love."

And right away I thought of you,

And I said a loving prayer,

That He would bless you specially,

And keep you free from care.

I thought of all the happiness

A day could hold in store.

I wished it all for you because

No one deserves it more.

They say loving you is my biggest mistake but how can it be so wrong if it feels so right?
If ever I made a mistake, its not that I love you, its thinking that someday you'll love me too... "

copper becomes gold through love.
Through love dregs become clear;
love heals all pain.

love brings the dead to life.

What is Love?

WHAT IS LOVE?

Sometimes we are blind to see the goodness of our spouses and deaf to hear
their kind words for us. A nice story to share......

My husband is an Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature,
and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders. Three
years of courtship and now, two years into marriage, I would have to admit,
that I am getting tired of it. The reasons of me loving him before has now
transformed into the cause of all my restlessness. I am a sentimental woman
and extremely sensitive when it comes to a relationship and my feelings, I
yearn for the romantic moments, like a little girl yearning for candy. My
husband is my complete opposite, his lack of sensitivity, and the inability
of bringing romantic moments into our marriage has disheartened me about
love.

One day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce.

"Why?" he asked, shocked.

"I am tired, there are no reasons for everything in the world!" I answered.

He kept silent the whole night, seems to be in deep thought with a lighted
cigarette at all times. My feeling of disappointment only increased, here
was a man who can't even express his predicament, what else can I hope from
him?

And finally he asked me:" What can I do to change your mind?"

Somebody said it right, it's hard to change a person's personality, and I
guess, I have started losing faith in him.

Looking deep into his eyes I slowly answered : "Here is the question, if you
can answer and convince my heart, I will change my mind, Let's say, I want a
flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, and we both are sure that
picking the flower will cause your death, will you do it for me?"

He said:" I will give you your answer tomorrow...." My hopes just sank by
listening to his response.

I woke up the next morning to find him gone, and saw a piece of paper with
his scratchy handwriting, underneath a milk glass, on the dining table near
the front door, that goes....

My dear, "I would not pick that flower for you, but please allow me to
explain the reasons further.." This first line was already breaking my
heart. I continued reading..... "When you use the computer you always mess
up the Software programs, and you cry in front of the screen, I have to save
my fingers so that I can help to restore the programs. You always leave the
house keys behind, thus I have to save my legs to rush home to open the door
for you. You love traveling but always lose your way in a new city, I have
to save my eyes to show you the way. You like to stay indoors, and I worry
that you will be infected by infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to
tell you jokes and stories to cure your boredom. You always stare at the
computer, and that will do nothing good for your eyes, I have to save my
eyes so that when we grow old, I can help to clip your nails, and help to
remove those annoying white hairs. So I can also hold your hand while
strolling down the beach, as you enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful
sand... and tell you the color of flowers, just like the color of the glow
on your young face... Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone
who loves you more than I do... I could not pick that flower yet, and die.."

My tears fell on the letter, and blurred the ink of his handwriting... and
as I continue on reading...

"Now, that you have finished reading my answer, if you are satisfied, please
open the front door for I am standing outside bringing your favorite bread
and fresh milk...

I rush to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching tightly
with his hands, the milk bottle and loaf of bread.... Now I am very sure
that no one will ever love me as much as he does, and I have decided to
leave the flower alone... That's life, and love. When one is surrounded by
love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true
love that lies in between the peace and dullness.

Love shows up in all forms, even very small and cheeky forms, it has never
been a model, it could be the dullest and boring form... Flowers, and
romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface of the
relationship. Under all this, the pillar of true love stands... and that's
our life... Love, not words win arguments...

*"* A soul mate is the one with whom you could sit with without saying a
word and walk away feeling like that was the best conversation you have ever
had* "

A relationship is like two trees. Each must be planted apart. Each must have air to breath. Each must have room to allow the roots and branches to grow; receiving nutrition and sunlight. Each must also, share those common elements. Protecting each from the harshness of life. Reveling in the growth of the other. - Unknown author -

"Love is as much of an object as an obsession, everybody wants it everybody seeks it, but few ever achieve it, those who do, will cherish it, be lost in it, and among all, will never...never forget it."

Curtis Judalet

Love Defined

What is love, but an emotion,
So strong and so pure,
That nurtured and shared with another
All tests it will endure?

What is love, but a force
To bring the mighty low,
With the strength to shame the mountains
And halt time’s ceaseless flow?

What is love, but a triumph,
A glorious goal attained,
The union of two souls, two hearts
A bond the angels have ordained?

What is love, but a champion,
To cast the tyrant from his throne,
And raise the flag of truth and peace,
And fear of death o’erthrow?

What is love, but a beacon,
To guide the wayward heart,
A blazing light upon the shoals
That dash cherished dreams apart?

And what is love, but forever,
Eternal and sincere,
A flame that through wax and wane
Will outlive life’s brief years?

So I’ll tell it on the mountaintops,
In all places high and low,
That love for you is my reason to be,
And will never break or bow.

The Magic Of Love

Love is like magic
And it always will be.
For love still remains
Life's sweet mystery!!
Love works in ways
That are wondrous and strange
And there's nothing in life
That love cannot change!!
Love can transform
The most commonplace
Into beauty and splendor
And sweetness and grace.
Love is unselfish,
Understanding and kind,
For it sees with its heart
And not with its mind!!
Love is the answer
That everyone seeks...
Love is the language,
That every heart speaks.
Love can't be bought,
It is priceless and free,
Love, like pure magic,
Is life's sweet mystery!!

God kindles the fire of love in the hearts of the chosen, so that their carnal selves are consumed. Once ignited the fire of longing never dies. That is the flame about which the Prophet said, "When God wills the good of his servant, He kindles a light of faith in his heart."

When they asked him what were the signs of that fire, he replied, "Deviation from the abode of vanity; progression toward the Eternal."

Like any other kind of love, friendship can be lost within our lives due to neglect or anger or, sometimes, simply circumstances. However it is lost, we often lose a part of ourselves that can never quite be recovered.

In the root of my day
pleasant thoughts fill my mind
in the essence of your warmth
that captivates my soul
I surrender to the desire
of consuming your inner being
creating a playground of passion
that will free your spirit and capture
your heart
from the depth within I release to you
all that I am
as we embrace in this moment of love.

Subject: what is love? - a touching story

'How long will you be poring over that newspaper? Will you come here right
away and make our darling daughter eat her food?'

I tossed the paper away and rushed to the scene. My only daughter Sindu
looked frightened. Tears were welling up in her eyes. In front of her was a
bowl filled to its brim with Curd Rice.

Sindu is a nice child, quite intelligent for her age. She has just turned
eight. She particularly detested Curd Rice. My mother and my wife are
orthodox, and believe firmly in the 'cooling effects' of Curd Rice!

I cleared my throat, and picked up the bowl. "Sindu, darling, why don't you
take a few mouthful of this Curd Rice? Just for Dad's sake, dear And, if
you don't, your Mom will shout at me'

I could sense my wife's scowl behind my back. Sindu softened a bit, and
wiped her tears with the back of her hands. 'OK, Dad. I will eat â€" not just
a few mouthfuls, but the whole lot of this. But, you should...' Sindu
hesitated.

'Dad, if I eat this entire Curd Rice, will you give me whatever I ask for?'

'Oh sure, darling'.

'Promise?'

'Promise'. I covered the pink soft hand extended by my daughter with mine,
and clinched the deal.

'Ask Mom also to give a similar promise', my daughter insisted. My wife
slapped her hand on Sindu's, muttering 'Promise', without any emotion.

Now I became a bit anxious. 'Sindumma, you shouldn't insist on getting a
computer or any such expensive items. Dad does not have that kind of money
right now. OK?'

'No, Dad. I do not want anything expensive'. Slowly and painfully, she
finished eating the whole quantity. I was silently angry with my wife and
my mother for forcing my child eat something that she detested.

After the ordeal was through, Sindu came to me with her eyes wide with
expectation. All our attention was on her. 'Dad, I want to have my head
shaved off, this Sunday!' was her demand!

'Atrocious!' shouted my wife, 'a girl child having her head shaved off?

Impossible!'.

'Never in our family!' my mother rasped. 'She has been watching too much of
television. Our culture is getting totally spoiled with these TV programs!'

'Sindumma, why don't you ask for something else? We will be sad seeing you
with a clean-shaven head.'

'No, Dad. I do not want anything else', Sindu said with finality.

'Please, Sindu, why don't you try to understand our feelings?' I tried to
plead with her.

'Dad, you saw how difficult it was for me to eat that Curd Rice'. Sindu was
in tears. 'And you promised to grant me whatever I ask for. Now, you are
going back on your words. Was it not you who told me the story of King
Harishchandra, and its moral that we should honour our promises no matter
what?'

It was time for me to call the shots. 'Our promise must be kept.'

'Are you out your mind?' chorused my mother and wife.

'No. If we go back on our promises, she will never learn to honour her own.
Sindu, your wish will be fulfilled.'

With her head clean-shaven, Sindu had a round-face, and her eyes looked big
& beautiful.

On Monday morning, I dropped her at her school. It was a sight to watch my
hairless Sindu walking towards her classroom. She turned around and waved.
I waved back with a smile. Just then, a boy alighted from a car, and
shouted, 'Sinduja, please wait for me!'

What struck me was the hairless head of that boy. 'May be, that is the
in-stuff', I thought.

'Sir, your daughter Sinduja is great indeed!' Without introducing herself,
a lady got out of the car, and continued, 'That boy who is walking along
with your daughter is my son Harish. He is suffering from ... ...
leukaemia.'

She paused to muffle her sobs. 'Harish could not attend the school for the
whole of the last month. He lost all his hair due to the side effects of
the chemotherapy. He refused to come back to school fearing the
unintentional but cruel teasing of the schoolmates. Sinduja visited him
last week, and promised him that she will take care of the teasing issue.

But, I never imagined she would sacrifice her lovely hair for the sake of
my son! Sir, you and your wife are blessed to have such a noble soul as
your daughter.'

I stood transfixed. And then, I wept.

'My little Angel, will you grant me a boon? Should there be another birth
for me, will you be my mother, and teach me what Love is?'

Are There Angels?

It is said there are Angels
In Heaven above
And they shine with the light
Of an inner love

Of these things
I had not a clue
But that was
Before I found you

For in you I’ve found
A love that is so right
It shines all around
With the brightest of light

It comes from somewhere
So deep within
That it has no beginning
And knows no end

Your love is a light
That brightens each day
Of all of the people
You see on your way

Where ever you go
Or whatever you do
All see the love
That you have inside you

That God sent you here
To a place where you’d be
Sharing such love
With someone like me

Is proof for me
That angels exist
And are filled with a love
That no man could resist

I thank God each day
For finding the time
For looking down on me
And making you mine

So yes there are Angels
In heaven above
I know because God
Sent me one to love

Each truth is just a scrim across the darkness.
We cannot see what most we'd like to know.
We drive among sheer cliffs in pale moonlight
Unsure of where we are or where to go.

When we allow our heads to make our choices,
We lose because of what we cannot see.
When we give way and let desire take us,
We lose because we want what cannot be.

We inch along the dream-lit rocky ridges
Knowing always, always we must lose.
The end for all is darkness everlasting,
And so it matters less which road we choose.

What matters is the beauty of sheer being;
The gifts we have and those we will become;
The ecstasy of loving so completely
That we ourselves are more than minds can plumb.

Love well and know that love must end in pain.
Be a fool and pay the unmarked price.
Be generous of self, and passion gain:
One who never loses, loses twice.

We confuse attachment with love. Attachment is concerned with my needs, my happiness, while love is an unselfish attitude, concerned with the needs and happiness of others....

A relationship free of unrealistic grasping is free of disappointment, conflict, jealousy, and other problems, and is fertile ground for the growth of love and wisdom.

Criticism is love turned sour…

In the spiritual domain, criticism is love turned sour… If criticism becomes a habit, it will destroy the moral energy of the life and paralyze the spiritual force… Whenever you are in a critical temper, it is impossible to enter into communion with God. Criticism makes you hard and vindictive and cruel, and leaves you with the flattering unction that you are a superior person. It is impossible to develop the characteristics of a saint and maintain a critical attitude.

To love someone is not first of all to do things for them, but to reveal to them their beauty and value, to say to them through our attitude: “You are beautiful. You are important. I trust you. You can trust yourself.” We all know well that we can do things for others and in the process crush them, making them feel that they are incapable of doing things by themselves. To love someone is to reveal to them their capacities for life, the light that is shining in them.
