Recommendation of books

Post by Funklebits »

Ya Ali Madad!

I hope life has been kind to you all. Im sorry to trouble everyone, but what would be your top 10 recommended reading be?

I am in kind of a void and not sure what to explore next. I have a basic understanding of what being Ismaili means as well as some of the historical context, but I really want to take my knowledge to the next level. I find that I am more lost on this site than informed and would very much like to change that.

Thank you in advance and I look forward to hearing everyone's recommendations.

Thank you again for your time and the links.

Here at Hay House, we are singly focused on helping people transform their lives with practical steps and proven techniques for making change.

But we know that you, Karim, are multidimensional.

Your life isn’t all about a four-step plan to break bad habits or a science-backed tool to shift your beliefs, right?

That’s why we wanted to tell you about a fantastic event we’re working on with Sourcebooks, another publisher that creates books to enrich lives. They describe themselves as an “independent publisher bound together by the idea that Books. Change. Lives.”

And they’re right. Books do change lives. Our books do. And so do the books from Sourcebooks.

But here’s the thing about Sourcebooks. They publish different enriching books. And one of their most popular genres is romantasy—the titillating intersection of romance and fantasy where you’ll find epic adventures, dragons, fairies, empowered women, magic, intrigue, and so much more.

Because of our shared commitment to books that help people step into more of themselves—and our belief that Hay House readers might also be romantasy fans—we are proud to co-sponsor:

Romantasy Con
A Virtual Event for Lovers of Romance, Fantasy, and Magic
Thursday, June 27 | 6:00PM ET – 9:00PM ET

Save Your Free Seat! https://www.discover.hayhouse.com/roman ... AzNDQ0NgS2

This free event brings together seven of the most popular authors from Sourcebooks’ romantasy line to talk about everything from how they navigate the magical worlds they create to how lovers can be entwined through multiple lifetimes to how ancient divination practices like Tarot inspire their storytelling.

Think of this as a romantasy book signing taken to a whole new level.

Here’s to your epic adventure,
Your Friends at Hay House

Here’s What to Expect at Romantasy Con

Prepare for a captivating three-hour experience featuring the enchanting worlds crafted by seven best-selling authors. Escape reality and embark on a journey where love, magic, and adventure intertwine, offering you an unparalleled experience in romance and fantasy.

- Join Scarlett St. Clair and Laura Thalassa as they explore the concept of fated mates and love that transcends time. Discover how past lives and loves shape modern romantasy storytelling and what happens when entwined souls return as completely different people.

- Join Kristin Cast and Piper CJ as they delve into the mystical realms of Tarot and divination. They’ll discuss how these ancient practices intertwine with magic, fate, and myth in their fantastical universes, and talk about the power of the Divine in storytelling.

- Uncover the art of deception in romantasy with Claire Legrand, Jeneane O’Riley, and Leia Stone. Learn how these master storytellers navigate twists and turns to keep readers enraptured and guessing, even when dealing with fae who are rumored to never lie but are adept at deceit.
