Some of the questions answered in this book;
1 Why would a religious Leader refuse to meet his followers (spiritual children), and instead allow a lawsuit to be filed or continued
2 Why would a religious Leader file a lawsuit against his followers for disseminating his own, verbatim and authentic guidance?
3 How is leadership and authority exercised by H. H. the Aga Khan, and by the institutions of the community.
4 Whether His Highness the Aga Khan, acted in accordance with his own authority, guidance and role.
5 Whether the Aga Khan acted in the best interests of the collective wellbeing of the community.
6 What are the reasons why this lawsuit was allowed to continue, when the Aga Khan could have ended it in a five-minute meeting?
7 What were the reasons behind the actions of the leadership?
8 What were the reactions and interventions within the community, by individuals, and groups?
9 What are the ground realities of the system and structure of governance, and constitution?
10 What is the culture and mindset of the different classes, groups, and the community institutions?
It may not seem so, but His Highness the Aga Khan was right in what he did, as a spiritual father, Imam and, Leader.
“You should not feel that, that dialogue is not something which I wish to encourage. Remember that authority has with its duty and the need to serve. There is no authority in My mind which is healthy if it is absolute and it does not take place within a philosophical and a social context. And, therefore, in your leadership to the Jamat (community) be considerate, be humble, be hard working and share with the Jamat their concerns and their needs” (Aga Khan IV)
