Can higher stage of consciousness be reached through ibadat?
what is the correct way of ibadat,according to ginans and farman through
which one can reach to highest level of consciousness?

in mantiqu-ul-tayr [Conference of Birds] of Attar, he describes it beautifully that one needs to pass through several valleys to attain unity with the Divine, such as Valley of Search, Valley of Love, Valley of Detachment, Valley of Bewilderment, Valley of Annihilation, Valley of Gnosis, Valley of Poverty. Basically one must renounce all attachments to this physical and temporal world, such as ego, power, wealth[money], and be humble. And by attaining knowledge of Taw'hid. The following is one of the parables from this book, which I find interesting.
A saint once dreamt that while he was walking in the Path of God, an angel met him, and asked him whither he was going, and the saint replied :
"I am on my way to the Royal Presence." Said the angel, "You are so much concerned with worldly affairs, and you are encumbered with so great riches and possessions ; how can you hope to be admitted to the Presence of the King, with so many burdens to hamper you?" So the saint cast away all that he had, except a single blanket wherewith to protect himself from the weather, and to serve him as a covering. The next night he dreamt that he saw the angel again, and was asked the same question, and again he replied that he was on his way to the abode of the Lord of All. The angel said to him, "wise man, how can you expect to reach it, while you have this blanket? It is the greatest hindrance to your progress." When the saint awoke from his dream, he put the blanket on the fire and burnt it. On the third night, he saw the angel yet again, and the angel spoke again to him. "thou of unspotted life," he said, "where art thou going now?" And the saint answered as before, "I go to seek the Creator of the Universe. chosen one," said the angel then, "now that thou hast cast away all that thou hadst, remain here where thou art. It needs not that thou shouldst go in search of thy Lord, for He Himself will come to thee."
Yes, you can reach higher stage of consciousness in Bandagi and also with self hypnotism.
BTW: There is no easy way to reach this higher stage which is also caled Param Samadhi just practice it daily and if Allah blesses you then you will reach that stage.
Practicing bandagi as described in ginans are very difficult and only few peoples can do that because you have to control your breathing which is very hard for us to hold our breath before starting taking breath and after exocsting the breath called swasoswas ni bandagi but practicing bandagi in the mornings with jamats are easy in my thinking because as per SMS one farman it is like a lift which take us higher levels in short period of time.
So my advice is to you forget about yoga practices as described in various ginans just ride on the lift given us by our imams and that lift is Baitul Khayal Bandagi at exact 4.00 a.m. with jamats.
Why with jamat? Because in the jamat some one might have progressed higher stages in bandagi and becauze of him/her you will receive boost in your practice.
So, Good luck brother.

In response to one of the questions asked by a group of missionaries Mowlana Sultan Muhamad Shah stated the following regarding rebirth.
"Obviously reborn means in a higher sphere than this earth. Without going to the final spiritual sphere there will be further triumph before the highest points are reached unless those highest points are reached in this world and on this earth by the general rules of the Ismaili faith beginning with kindness, gentleness, etc and going up to highest love of union with Imam."

The three names option are given in lieu of BOL.
just forget as Noor of Mohammed is ALI and the word Ali+lah gave away
to the word Allah.So the word Ya Ali is the best ultimate word.
If one does progress in bandagi to a higher stage,the final word is Ya Ali,
which comes as an order to murid in his heart (thru noorani hidayat).
At that level one need NOT go to MHI for further word for promotion in Ibadat.
One word is pure jet fuel,other name can be called brand name of the original/generic like Mohammed Allah,Karim.Rahim etc.
The practical time taken in seconds to say 'Ya Allah' two times is = saying
'Ya Ali' three times.as one the vacuum portion of 'Lah' meaning nothing in the first place.( time is money in this living world buddy).
50% more output in same time and 101% pure.
So the Ibaadat with this word has shown glow of light light even on the faces of non Ismailies who does that.
ALI is an entity for the humanity not just prerogative of the Ismailis only.

Simple answer practice, practice and more practice .
Besides practice nobody can tell you how to search meditation? There is not a single medition which takes you in meditation in a minutes nor a any magic trick which take you in last stage of a meditation. Means you must have to practice every days.
