Our belief is difficult to understand but not hard to grasp if you have an open mind.

We firmly believe that prophet mohummad is the last prophet for menkind but he is not the last GUIDE. A guide will always be present in this world in form of a human being. We believe this Guide as IMAMAT or ALUHL BAYAT and it is been carried down from Imam Ali the first REAL CALIPH/GUIDE. He was appointed by Prophet Mohummad throughout his life. you can look through the links posted above for reference

We believe the IMAMS job is to save guard and preserve ISLAM till the day of judgement. We believe it is the IMAMS job to look after his followers well being.

Regarding the kalimah it similar but not the same. we say THEIR IS NO GOD BUT GOD, PROPHET MOHUMMAD HIS IS LAST MESSANGER AND ALI IS THE LEADERS OF THE BELIEVERS AND IS FROM ALLAH.

Why do other Ismaili muslims ignore you. well most might not be comfortable to speak about our believes because lots of nonbelievers in IMAMAT have called us kaffirs and questioned and even ridiculed us. But you can ask more questions if you wish,

Also our faith is not based on shariate and it is based on marifat. It isnt zahri but batuni. you will find in ismailism we have many similarities towards what prophet mohummad used to do that has been lost in mainstream islam. lets take somethings for example. Bandagi/meditation. did you know that prophet mohummad used to go to a cave in the middle of the night to do bandagi and meditate. Guess what we ismailis do that

did you know the prophet used to take an allegiance oath (bayat) of his followers. guess what we have that

did you know that the prophet used to pray to allah to forgive the sins of his followers. guess what we have that through the IMAMS. As my understanding Imams dont forgive but pray for us (many ismailis disagree that prophets/imam just pray but actually forgive)

did you know that the prophet would tell his followers to drink from the holy well zamzam guess what we have that also (granted it is not from the holy well but it is just a symbolic gesture of this)

did you know people used to cook for the prophet and the prophet in turn would turn around and give it back to the poor. Guess what in ismailism we also have that.

many of these traditions have been lost in mainstream islam

Yes we have same Kalima as Sunnat-al- jamats recites but we also add one more sentence in it for Hazarat Ali.

We also have a series of other Kalima in our Du'a (3rd Chapters)
