Imam hasan and Nizar!

A few questions that i cannot seem to get an answer; would appreciate all your help,

1 - There is a divide between Shia community regarding the imamate of Hasan; let forget the Zaydi and Imami for second, why is there a divide among ismailis i.e. Bohras & Seveners on one side and Nizari's on the other! please help me out?

2 - During the succession crisis after Al-Mustanasir, per my knowledge, the Nizari's claimed that per the tradition of Imam Jafar-e-Sadik, the eldest of the sons shall the imam and the Mustaali's claimed otherwise! If thats indeed tha case why wasnt imamate given to Hasan (A.S.) instead of Hussain (A.S.)?[/list]
