What do you exactly mean when you say..."spiritual space"? kindly clarify ! space could also imply "area" or "place" - so is this what you mean? if Yes then exoterically it is the JK which is the house of the Prophet and his family and which Allah has elevated so therin Allah can be exalted, glorified and remembered ! Read Sura Nur ! JK is the "Bayt Allah al-Haram" and also according to hadith it means house of the Prophets especially that of the Prophet of Islam and his pure progeny.

Suyuti transmits a saying of Caliph Aboo Bakr which also confirms that the house of Ali and Bibi Fatima as zahara is "amongst the best of them" and so this obviously is an ideal 'spiritual space" for Ismailis to pray in congregation, at the times of their obligatory prayers.

The prophet SAW says that the intention of a believer is better than his action and so a "good act" but without a good intent will meet with no recognition ...for example if one refrains from eating and drinking for the whole day but he does not do this for the sake of "fasting", it cannot be said that he fasted....if one visits Mecca during the pilgrimage season and performs all the rites but lacks the good intent to perform pilgrimage, he or she ceases to be a pilgrim....if you bow down and protrate as if you are offering a prayer just the way many have mastered the techniques of genuflections and external forms, but their hearts are sullied and destructive and they kill and maim and cheat and lie, then it is destitute of any spirituality with or without space and cconversely a good intent even without the act is an expression of faith and piety and earns profits spiritually....and is a superior 'spiritual space" for all and not just for ismailis per se...
