Regardin soiled photos of Imam

Recently my grandfather passed away...and on my visit to his place found lot of imam photos in soiled condition(sorry if i have used a wrong term)

My uncles told i should dispose(again sorry if i have used a wrong term)
it in water(probably sea)

SO whats the exact ritual for above?

Sorry dear...but i dont think Itreb atleast at my place not even buy or exchange stuff which i get from them...than getting these photos is way beyond their thinking

And who is ready to take soiled photos(which are 10-20 years old)?

Ya Ali Madad,<BR><BR>i don't know if ppl like it or not. but being a part of spiritual sect of islam and the most righteous sect of islam, we, the Ismalies, dont believe in worldly matter. we dont follow the man, infact we follow the NOOR in that special man, The Aga Khan. I will tell u a story. Rai Abu Aly o&shy;nce said. He was asked by some sunni that u pray to Aga Khan as if he is ur Allah and thus u all r idolist. He answered, Nauzubillah, we dont follow that man like allah, but we do follow the NOOR in him as if its of Allah. So the summary is we are spiritual. These photos won't create any problem. Dont worry. Just make this photo as small as possible and dont put that it in main stream water bcz first, it can creat problems for marine life and it creates pollution. o&shy;nce, i was told by somebody to destroy it using fire.<BR><BR>U can confirm it from council. I have only heard to keep old or broken Gaatpat Jo Doros in the stream of water so that they are in a place where no one can step on. But I hve never heard of how to properly dispose pictures of Mowla Bapa. I am sure if you give them to the ITREB they will recurve it and dispose of it. I believe they shred old religious Ismaili magazines which also has Mowla Bapas photos. So I believe you could possibly shred them. But do check with a council member if possible.
