Can anyone tell me precisely what is the difference between didar and darbar.

Difference between didar and darbar
Darbar is a special moment of happines for the Imam and the Jamat as per the following excerpt.

"Today I want you to share in My happiness. And this is why I decided
that today should be an occasion of Darbar. A Darbar is an occasion of
special happiness, of special meaning, and I want My Jamat at the
beginning of this Farman, to know how very happy I have been during this
visit to the United Kingdom. And that is why I made the decision that
today should be a Darbar, a day of special happiness, special rejoicing,
for you and for Me."
"There is another reason, to hold a Darbar today. That is that, though
you have lived in Western Europe, through a very deep and painful
recession, it is My hope and prayer that the worst of that recession is
over. And that with hard work, with unity, with integrity, with wisdom,
My Jamat will be able to rebuild that which has been damaged, and can
construct for itself, a stronger future in the years ahead. And for this
too, I give My best best loving blessings to each and everyone of you."

yAm and Darbar mubarak.
Per Missionary Abu Aly's waez: a Deedar is when Mawlana Hazar Imam, the Imam and Pir of the time, blesses His murids with His Deedar in the role (jauma, if I correctly recall, was the Urdu word used) of their Pir; a Darbar is when the Imam blesses his murid and appears before them in His role as the Imam.
