Post by Guest »

During fatimd period it was celebrated as a national holiday.At the time of Imam Moez city of cairo was decorated with diyas and chirag on navroz day and people wore beautiful dresses.People of that time also enjoy the festival by boating on river Nile and gifts were given to blind and deaf people.

I think

Diya and chirag = Lamp of Noor

Dress = Aamal.

Boat and Nile --> Nav kije Aly ke naam ki, ae ma saacha bhariyae bhaar, pavan laage prem ka tab satgur utare paar"

Gifts = Farman

Blind and Deaf --> "sari duniya ni lijjat thi door rahe avo rojo raakhe to batuni aankh ane kaan cche te khulae"

Have you ever heard of the word Batuni
Batuni means esoteric
it also means hidden.

Who do you think said the statement about Batuni aankh and kaan.

Does it make any sense to give gifts only to the deaf and blind. There are other disabilities much worse than deafness.

Batuni meaning of that paragraph will be obvious to any Ismaili.

"Amaro deen roohani cche"
