There is nothing prohibiting in regards to marrying or any section dedicated for marriage. The Ismaili Constitution defines the Imamet and the Imamet institutions.
As for marrying some one as a Muslim you are free to marry within Ahal Al Kitab and there are some restriction mentioned in Sura Nisa.
Everything else is cultural or ignorance of culture.
