sunnis have the worst attitudes ever. If anyone is going to go down in the future, it's them. I don't wish anything bad upon them, but what they do to shia muslims isn't right. It goes down to simple things like muslims asking other muslim girls why they don't wear hijaab. Why is it their business? ...

I believe this ginan is full of subliminal messages. How can you feel good singing about how one will go to hell if they have doubts about our religion or don't listen to what the peer composed. It's like proclaiming over and over you're far more superior than people like that, and Islam should be a...

in that case it looks like I'm going to hell even though I'm at #2 and sometimes between 2 and 3. Why do there have to be categories for acceptance into heaven? It's so limiting and does not take into account any diversities and changing contexts of society we're living in. I guess because I don't a...

that's a good question. I believe it is because there are no disturbances from the material world, no noise or anything. Also because of the forces of nature or something along those lines. Bandghi is such a private thing though, between you and Allah that it's not something you explain in detail ab...

I personally feel that everyone has a little bit of a sixth sense and if little things happen, such as remembering someone after a long time and then you see them, or something like getting a funny feeling about something and then it comes true, or having a dream that comes true; I don't think it's ...

well then

let me ask you this. If you're having attraction to the same sex but do not engage in relations, does that mean you're going to hell according to the quran because your body is feeling something, even if your mind and soul do not want your body to feel this way? I know the quran says no homosexualit...

A lot of people do not agree with my opinion but sexuality is fluid and not fixed. It's one thing to be attracted to the same sex but another when you're engage in intimate relations with them. Going from being attracted to the same sex sometimes and to the opposite sex at others is something I view...

In our tariqah Dua and Dasond are mandatory when it comes to rituals. Ginans are not considered as compulsory as the former two in my most humble opinion(but this does not excuse us from reading and following the Quran). It summarizes what's in the Quran and was done so in order to convert those in ...

I don't think it's unlawful in islam, after all we're not like some christian sects who promote celibacy. If we're not hurting anyone masturbation is okay, but too much of anything is not good. There has to be a balance. And it's a good alternative for those who abstain until marriage.

I don't drink at all but I tried a couple sips or two of my friends drinks when I was 16 and begged for forgiveness after I found out shortly that it's not allowed in our religion and I now stay far, far away from that stuff. those who bash ismailis must be insecure about their own religious beliefs if they have to resort to telling other muslims how to live and rubbing how 'unorthodox' we are. I have a book with all the 1000 plus verses in it with translations. Some of it is beautiful but I have a problem with some of the verses about the references to hell. Maybe it has to do with the time period the pir wrote it in on that silk cloth, or maybe the translations came out that way. Althoug...

You Should always think who you really are, where was your soul before and where it is now and where it can go. it is upto you. Whatever you are given is no more than temporary material of this life. What GOD possesses is far better and everlasting, for those who believe and trust in their Lord. [4...

sexuality is fluid and not fixed. If you feel like you might be gay at one point but never have relations and eventually feel attracted to the opposite sex once, it doesn't make you homosexual nor does it necessarily mean you're bisexual.
