The 2012 date is a Mayan calander problem. Its not that time ends (or the world) but rather the wheel of time starts over.

No, suicide bombing did not begin with the Dai Hasan Sabbah who founded the Nizari Ismaili State at Alamut. While rockets (the main use of gunpowder before guns) were being used in China at the time, its doubtful that their use had penetrated the Middle East at that time. I think the poster really m...

It appears that the Dalai Lama may have to adopt a new practice similar to the Ismaili nass designation of a successor. Tho this will break tradition but may make the Dalai Lama succession a more stable one. I have heard rumors that the next one may be non-tibetan. BTW, outside of Tibet no other bud...

I think its kind of sexist for the authors of this thread to concentrate on what women wear and not mention men's attaire. Your in danger of sinking into the real of zahari legalism like the sunni and 12er shia.

Keep in Mind that the Imam has not condemned it

One should keep in mind that the Imam-e-zman has not spoken out against gay marriage or the simple act of being gay. This in itself speaks volumes.

peace,

sikhism

Dominique-Sila Khan seem to suggest in her latest text that Sihkism could have been influenced by Nizari Ismaili ideas especially since the boundries of religious communities at that time were so fluid.
